The same fixture we had on the opening day of the 2009/10 season the second game will be interesting Man Utd away an early indication of how our season will pan out it certainly won't decide where the title goes as its too early to say that.

I think if we win against United on the 2nd game it will boost our confidence enough to go for the title!

Every year the fixture is never easy, nor is it tough though.

I'm just hoping we don't have a decline in form in November which has cost us the title over the years and hopefully we're consistent during every month in this upcoming season. Consistency is the key to winning the title if you want to summarise it simplistically.
THE SPECIAL ONE!!! 2004-2007, 2013-

I'm expecting Mourinho to come out with all guns blazing against Man Utd.

Also looking forward to his new signings.

The main worry for me comes during the November and December time this is what cost us big time last season hopefully it does not repeat this time around we need to get off all guns blazing.

I just hope we have a consistent forward by the time the season kicks off.

I agree, consistency is the name of the game and Mourinho is well aware of it.

At home against Hull should be an easy 3 points and then away to Man United. I think its better we play Man United early than later, a sper usual Chelsea start the season off well whilst Man U start slow, so we have a strong chance of getting 3 points there.

Chelsea must find a solution to dip in form during October, November and December. We need to be consistent this season to have any chance of winning top prize and Stamford Bridge must be a fortress.
