According to the Muencher Abendzeitung, the former German international made these statements during a meeting with the Seeoner Seedeife'n fan club.
"If Ribery doesn't renew his deal in the spring, it would be fiscally irresponsible to keep him, as he's out of contract in 2011," he said.
"We'd just be giving away €50-60 million in that case."
Ribery is currently on the comeback trail after almost three months out with injury, and should return to action against Hertha Berlin this weekend.
Clubs ranging from Chelsea to Real Madrid have been linked with the French international of late.
What a t*t is this guy Uli Hoeness? For a player who is in the second last year of his contract, which club in its right mind would pay 50-60 mp for him, when it can get him for free when his contract expires![]()
Anyways, I don't want yet another indubitably talented yet high on ego player. Let's get Stoch back from McLaren and give him first team action. Merci, mais non merci Munchen!
stoch is good, nothing better than giving youth a chance but, its a big risk, stoch has potential i give him another half season on loan after this season and i think he'll be ready
