Rubin Kazan is 6th in the russian league. We should be able to deal with them. We have to do the job in first leg at SB, to have an easier trip to Russia.

Since we are playing home in the first leg we must go all out and try and hit them hard. A 3 or 4 goal cushion should be ok.
Playing in Russia is never easy so we must take advantage.

We've seen what Inter and Arsenal did, its never impossible to overturn a deficit.

Our majir threat in this competition has to be Tottenham who will most likely progress passed Basle.

Rubi Kazan are currently 6th in the Russian league, 8 points behind 2nd, but they must be pretty damn good to beat Atletico Madrid (The defending Europa League Champions who are 3rd in the La Liga), Levante (Mid table in La Liga) and who finished on top of Inter in the group stages and who have drawn 2-2 in Italy and beat Inter 3-0 in Russia.

Only players I recognise in their team is Yann M'Vila (someone we should have signed), Gokhan Tore, Roman Eremenko, Bebars Natcho Jose Salomon Rondon.

Based on recent games against Southampton and Man United and upcoming game against Sunderland on the weekend we could see a jaded side fielded in this 1st leg at home.

Probable line-up:

................................Cech
Azpi..................Luiz\Ivan........Terry................Bertrand
........................Ramires.........Lampard
Moses...........................Mata....................Benayoun
...................................Torres

We must get a good result in the first leg because we will most likely lose in Russia. We were given a boost as we are 0laying the 2nd leg in Moscow which is not Rubin's home ground. Not sure if that will deter fans fro attending as its only about 811 KMfrom Rubin Kazan.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Rubin
